Fresh Pesto Sauce

Have you made Pesto sauce at home?  It is ridiculously easy and tastes *so* much nicer than shop bought.  I just whipped up a tiny jar to use this week - one of my "go to" meals for the kids is fusilli pasta with pesto stirred in and grated cheese on top!


Ingredients
25g fresh basil leaves
1 garlic clove
2 tsp pine nuts
3 tbsp olive oil
10g Parmesan 
Pinch of salt

Method
Put all the ingredients except the cheese into a blender and go!  Then stir in the grated Parmesan and refrigerate.

Stir into fresh pasta and enjoy :)
